Final Objective
To write an effective and meaningful narrative/personal statement that recounts an event that molded the student somehow. Median Objectives • To brainstorm numerous ideas of stories students could tell about their own exprience that would be appropriate to submit for a college personal statement. • To support their intended effect (creation of mood and tone) using literary techniques such as: characterization, setting, beginning and ending, figurative language, alliteration and allusion. • To edit their personal narrative and engage in the on-going process of revision. |
